Learning and Development

Learning and Development’s purpose is to strengthen the quality of Roskilde University’s educational programmes and working environment by developing the university’s pedagogical practice, employees’ competencies, and the framework for well-being, inclusion, and professional community.

The unit is anchored in HR and supports departments, academic environments, the occupational health and safety organisation, employees, and university management through guidance, competence development, coaching, committee services, employee programmes, and more.

Learning and Development is Roskilde University’s pedagogical development unit and is responsible for strengthening and advancing the university’s distinctive pedagogy, problem-oriented project learning (PPL). On these pages you will find information about competence development for academic staff (VIP) as well as our pedagogical development initiatives.
