Building Responsible Collaboration in Research Teams
This course offers a tailored program where your entire team is guided through important discussions about collaboration dilemmas in all phases of your project—from initiation to consolidation and conclusion. We focus on facilitating discussions about potential disagreements, workload balance, engagement, and cross-sectoral challenges, enabling you to manage your collaboration responsibly and sustainably.
You will be equipped with tools and reflective exercises that help you strengthen your collaboration skills as a collective responsibility. The course is designed for entire research teams, including researchers, assistants, technical staff, and external partners.
Learning objectives
Upon completion of the workshop, it is intended that participants will be able to:
- Reflect on Responsible Research and Innovation
- Consider dilemmas related to working with interpersonal, cross-disciplinary, cross-sectoral, and cross-cultural differences
- Show transparency, responsibility and care in your effort to lead a project as PI
Form and duration
6 hours per month for three months (three meetings with a facilitator)

Target group
Research teams at RUC. At any stage in your collaboration phase this collaborative ‘service check’ can be of huge value
Teaching language
The default language of instruction is English; however, the workshop can be conducted in Danish if all participants prefer. Group work can be carried out in both English and Danish, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive learning environment
